So crazy that he did 1000! That is some dedication. Ace is a machine, he's been to every KWC so far I'm pretty sure.
@goenKendama yeah ace really kill the earthturn game!!! but it's way too boring for me to watch & it's hard keeping track when you loose count. this one is in the book...
Hey guys, this will be an update on my infinite swirl time, so pretty much im just calling myself out & still i can't show you my record on cam for i still don't have something to record to this. current longest time- 00:03:20.??(sorry i forgot the millisecond.) still i hit the 3 minute mark!!! yey so, anyone willing to take on the challenge in beating my time? please do so remember, better have someone to have it on cam. btw setup is tk-16 red with @goenKendama's string(idk what it's called. sir can you lable the string that you have from the shop.) & goen lightning bead.
I'll see what I can do. Had some names but since it's not currently available separately from the Lightning Bead I wasn't too worried about it. How do you like that black string vs. the standard strings?
My favorite thing to do is try to balance difficult stall tricks for as long as possible when we're road tripping to events. We always just see who can do it the longest but never note our times. Roads are I cosistent to so this would be a really difficult record to properly track. It's really fun though, I recommend trying it with lunars or stilts.
really great. i don't know if it's me or it was just fine in my finger when im doing the trick. it doesn't really burn my skin that much compared to the regular tk string. but in comparison, tk string have lest lint & look durable but it really burns my finger even if i space it out. compared to the goen string, it's smooth & less burn effect in my finger, but it kinda kinks even with the lightning bead which is quite natural & it has lints due to excess play.
well it's pretty much applied to to all single tricks but lunars & stilts are pretty much a lock on trick so endurance is technically way longer, unless you're doing something else whil yoou do your lunar/stilt tricks
@Edric Owen Ladera Good to know, thanks for the feedback. As for records, how about how long does a tama spin on a bearing? I got over 3 minutes in the video below.
@goenKendama well i tried to spin it but i din't quite record how long it took before it stopped. i just let it spin & do the trick iji does when he spins his tama.
Well, here's my world record attempt for longest time for infinite finger swirl. 5:58, courtesy of @goenKendama
Could you kinda explain to me how is it that you do infinite swirls? Been trying to get that trick for the longest time
@azleonhart well it's kinda hard to explain but i'll try to do my best. Usually my non dominant(left) hand is what i use for some string tricks. Well for me a great practice to this on is getting a hang on handroll, spacewalks & regular swirls. What i see with pros doing it is they start with a spacewalk cause the string is pretty much linear & the momentum to build up for the swirl is just exact. Could be optional starting from a handroll so you don't have to catch it from a spacewalk which is hard for starters.only problem is that if you start from a handroll is that the angle of the string is kinda arched, sometime the momentum cannot easily build up making it hard to swirl. Now, once you started doing your spacewalk, make sure you time up placing your finger in the middle area. the catch should be above the string so that when you push down your finger for a swirl, it continues its' motion from the spacewalk. Usually my clues when starting it is when the dama is in mid air on a spcewalk, the ken is on my left side & the tama is on the right. similar to a handroll but it's still on your hand. remember to time it exactly on the middle of the string. technique here is from a handroll, when it's about to reach the middle, fold your fingers, except your index or which ever finger you'd use to do the swirl, then continue the motion you started from the handroll. Key to this one is the string is not necessarily straight once you're doing it. It's angle for abit due to the weight of the dama. so you might get the illusion of having it straight. By the time that i got, i was starting up fast, but i keep speeding up, i loose control of the swirl. so, keep the momentum right to get the control of the swirl. once you've got it & do a proper infinite swirl. it's pretty much how you maintain it. well string is one component cause you don't want to burn your finger, so choose a good string that is not too soft that it slide off to your hand or just speed up suddenly, or not to thick that it might get you finger burn. weight of the dama is not that much but it's also a factor. But all & all, it's the technique. I don't wanna spoil how i did that record but it's pretty much easy to find out once everybody done it consistently. also don't do it all the time. just do it occasionally...
