I'm a reggae head, so reggae. For dama, the more modern upbeat bands like Fortunate Youth, Rebelution, & Tribal Seeds. They're all from Cali of course
Anything by Nujabes (I haven't been able to find him on spotify, apple music, or google play but his stuff is on youtube) or the Gaslamp Killer.
I've been all over with my music picks lately. The album this track is from has been getting good play time:
Glk is some of my favorite music in general. I was super mad I didn't get to see him a few weeks ago in San Francisco
rock and post hardcore: dance gavin dance, circa survive, emarosa for trick lacing random chill shit for jamming arcade fire, empire of the sun, three door cinema club, bon iver
lately, i've been listening to Silversun Pickups, Two Door Cinema Club, Haim, The Knocks, Christine and the Queens, Blink182 and Green Day, but most of the time i jam to random kawaii-esque AF electronic (Ujico/Snails house, Tomggg)
What's up guys?? Parker from the Sweets Kendamas Focus Team coming at you with some dope new music to jam to! @Cobikaze not exactly sure what you mean by Japanese inspired? Buuuut you should definitely check out the artists 'toe', 'LITE', and 'Mouse on the Keys' Those three bands are from Japan, they're post-rock / math-rock sorta stuff.. super good. toe has been a favourite of mine for a long time
Just found chill hop. Eery is my fave. I mostly listen to Chillhop and Odesza when I dama. With the occasional Chance the Rapper.
