Yesterday was a Good Dama Day! Hit Around Denmark a couple times. Hit 3whirlwinds(prob one of hardest tricks I’ve come across). Around London with a little cup flow before it. Hit my first LH flip then to LH back flip(not instas but was still my first back to back snags) ..and Juggle up to LH! <—That one well actually ALL of these tricks have been ones that I have been like “nah, nope, that trick is probably out of my repertoire, why am I still trying it..?” To “Holy Sh*t I can’t believe I’m hitting these tricks now!” Kendama is Sooo Fun!! I had to stop 28TL because I actually was getting discouraged with Kendama. Getting frustrated trying to record with an old phone that doesn’t have much storage left.. trying to figure out a new trick I hadn’t done before each day, then having/finding the time to grind said trick.. was a little much for me and my anxiety. I Have stuck with the same 1 Kendama this whole month and that has been a new adventure. And fairly difficult as I’ve had some beautiful new kendamas come into my collection recently that haven’t been played yet.
Landed a few times a good ken flip and ken stalls n birds also figurring out the flip lighthouses consistency string is at finally 4+ fingers now seems to work better for me . Still working on a nice sesh i can put with a nice combination
slapped my first couple of lunars today. shocked honestly because i’ve been playing about a month and a half and i wasn’t planning on trying to learn lunars until much later but just started fucking around and got a couple. still no idea how to get it consistently but definitely psyched
nice! Lunars are a tough hurdle off the start, they get easier as you play. One of the first serious lessons in subtle pull-up techniques, imo. Keep on it!
Kept one-upping myself today. Did a bunch of spacewalk-1 turn lighty-in First moon circle-1 turn lighty-in, I think it was my first. First 1.5 moon circle-1 turn lighty-in, for sure a new one for me! Quad J sitting down, quint J sitting down, maybe even 6 turn J sitting down? Hard to count the turns, but the possible six turn was pretty much as high and as fast as I could go. Never even got that many turns standing up, just kept flinging the ken until it went in. At least one of those J-stick tricks are true
One turn fasthands airplane. One turn stunt plane. Almost got the one turn fasthands stunt plane but that will be another day.
