Since I'm currently in university, I either jam in my dorm room with some chill indie, or go onto campus as right now all the flowers are blooming and you can see the snow topped mountains. It's also nice when people walk up and ask, I always have 2 or 3 kendamas with me, so I let them try it out.
I jam on this nice secluded-feeling patch of grass in the middle of my large backyard. I always listen to Liquid Drum and Bass when I jam Music is not absolutely necessary, but I do enjoy it. I play it on a bluetooth speaker at a volume where only I can hear, and where I can still hear the clicks and sounds of nature. My absolute favorite DnB mix is The world of jazz - by Horton I like DnB that is smooth but not something that will put me to sleep.
Any place new that I haven't sessioned in before! Outdoors is alwys the best. I've usually got some Young the Giant playing, mixed with some Lewis Del Mar and a few Palace songs mixed in
