Just FYI, I was in the KUSA warehouse a couple weeks ago and the stock of Wiens mods is actually getting reeal low. So if you're looking for a fresh one you should act fast before they're gone!!
Man this is nuts! Ever since getting into kendama Jake has been my main role model from the very beginning, every thing he has ever done has been based off kendama and progressing the sport. Really excited for him to start working with new types of products at GT. Kinda disappointed because ever since getting into kendama I’ve always wanted to support him by purchasing his pro model. Guess it’ll never happen.
Yeah, I definitely do not want them moving away from american made. A GT2 and 2.5 would be sick to drop at Sakura Classic probably, because Jake practically runs that event. I definitely don't want them to go overboard, and make another prime/pop style dama like all of the competition, but larger cups has to come sometime just to keep up sadly. Already the GTKA and GTBH have boosted cups (more noticeable on the KA) but making a new line of standards, maybe GT2 and GT2.5, (possibly a GT Plus?) would definitely be an amazing add on to their line. If that happens, I definitely would not want it to completely replace the GT1 like the Next Gen replaced the completely viable OG. There will always be players who love the original GT1 shape, just like the ones who got pissed at sweets for almost discontinuing the OG-HGs.
Yeah! Definitely for me too. Jake had been the player I loved to watch on YouTube (Before I had IG) and I loved his unique style of play! It is obvious he will keep pushing the game forward like he has always done in the past.
Jake used to inspire as a newbie with his really flowy tricks that weren’t insane juggle-tap combos that there was no way I could replicate. I remember playing his videos over and over and trying to copy some of his tricks. He was (and still is) such a creative player, and inspired me to do something different when I was struggling with tradiontally higher-level tricks. Sad to see him go, but also excited for what the future holds for Grain Theory!
