For my tama design, I took inspiration from the colors of a baseball. Growing up, I spent a lot of my time on on the baseball field and I will always have a profound love for the game. We put huge effort into filming and editing this one and i'm very happy for the outcome. i think one can also find some very dama vibes and even a bit of creativity :) the title means an event were the people of the village gather together to chop some wood..:D

Yo what up Downspike fam! This year at we've been cooking up all kinds of fun stuff. Here's a Downspike exclusive sneak peek of a little Pendama prototype I've been playing with SO much lately. It's really addicting...and useful! Teachers everywhere may hate me for creating this one, but for school or the office, the Pendama is going to be an awesome addition. Do some work, then take a quick sec to lace a trick. Fun fact of the day, did you guys know that actually playing with a small toy during school or work can actually increase your productivity? Studies have shown that taking short breaks to play with toys like a Pendama can improve your focus, ease anxiety, and boost your creative thinking...crazy right?!? Disclaimer...I'm not that great at Kendama, so I can only imagine some of the tricks you guys are going to pull with this thing. A lot of Kendama mechanics translate, but a couple things are tricky because of the size so it takes a bit of adjusting to get used to. Here's what I came up with during a quick kitchen test-sesh. (I always jam in the kitchen because it has the best light in our house...and it's freezing outside right now). I can't wait to see how the community is always coming up with new tricks and can't wait to get these into your hands :D If you're interested in getting a Pendama when the final version is ready, here's a link.
